This project involved the development of a logo and brand identity for an innovative heart valve medical device with a highly unique, intricate design that inflates in a manner reminiscent of an origami balloon. The goal was to create a visual identity that reflected both the sophistication of the technology and its life-changing impact on patients.

The client specifically requested a bold, unconventional direction that broke away from traditional medical device aesthetics. In response, I developed a vibrant color palette and dynamic visual language designed to feel confident, energetic, and distinctly forward-thinking. The logo itself was crafted with a “superhero” sensibility—evoking strength, protection, and innovation—while still maintaining clarity and professionalism appropriate for the medical space.

In addition to the core logo and color system, a tagline was developed to support the brand story. As multiple options resonated strongly with the client, I created flexible logo lockups incorporating both taglines, allowing for adaptability across different marketing contexts.

The result is a bold and distinctive brand identity that sets the device apart in the medical field while communicating innovation, trust, and life-saving potential.
